How the reward fund will be administered and distributed

The IGHA/HorseAid reward fund will be paid to the first individual, or if more than one individual meets the qualifying requirements, evenly distributed among all such individuals, or a company, or organization furnishing IGHA/HorseAid accurate and verifiable information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the perpetrators of the killing of "Danny" on or about April 11, 1999. The reward money will be paid in U.S. dollars within 30 days of the conviction of all such perpetrator(s), or if the conviction is appealed, 30 days after the conviction is upheld by an appellate court having final determining powers in the case.

Your originating e-mail or postal address will be used to identify you, or your organization or company for any of the above reward money (as listed in the last entry of the "Total to Date" column), and the date we receive the qualifying information (in the case of e-mail), or a bona fide postal mark (clearly showing the date the letter was canceled by a governmental postal service) in the case of postal mail, will be the sole determining factor in qualifying a claimant for any part of this reward fund. The reward fund will be paid in addition to (or may be a part of) any other rewards being offered for the same above referenced offenses occurring on the aforementioned dates, in the aforementioned place. All legitimate information received by IGHA/HorseAid concerning this matter will be treated as confidential, under our stated "Abuse Report" guidelines, and will only be shared (on a confidential, "need to know" basis) with bona fide and empowered code or law enforcement agencies and/or individuals.

In the event the entire reward (or any part of it) is not legitimately claimed within 18 calendar months of the last donation received to the fund, or within 36 calendar months beginning on January 1st, 1999 (whichever is shorter), or in the case that all the perpetrators are apprehended and convicted without any person, persons, or entity qualifying for such reward, all donations received will be returned to the original donator(s), in the same amount as was originally donated by them. In the case of only a partial reward being paid from the fund, the refunded donations will be fairly and evenly distributed based on the remaining and/or unused reward fund amount. All refunds will be distributed in U.S. dollars, made payable to the original donator(s). The reward fund will be administrated under the auspices the IGHA/HorseAid general counsel, and/or his designates.

Personal, organizational, or company donations to the fund may be sent to:

" IGHA/HorseAid Reward Fund" (payable to, in USD)
P.O. Box 6778 Eastview Station

Please indicate how your donation (under "Name") should be listed. Note that we have been advised by the IRS, that under current U.S. tax law, monies donated to "reward funds" are not generally tax-deductable. If you reside (or are making a donation from) outside U.S. juristictions, then your donation may be tax-decutable (if in doubt, check with a competent tax professional, knowledgable with the tax laws in your country).
